For grown-ups

Everything you need to run the tradition — and what we promise never to do with your child's data.

How the QR works

The QR code on the printable badge points to one page (/dispatch). When your child scans, the page reads today's date and serves the matching dispatch — Day 1 on December 1, Day 14 on December 14, and so on. Same QR, new content every morning.

Before December 1

A scan will show a countdown page. Nothing spoils. On the morning of December 1 the first dispatch unlocks automatically.

After December 25

The page shows a friendly "Workshop Closed — see you next year!" screen.

Timezone

Dispatches roll over at midnight in America/Chicago (North Pole time) for every kit. This keeps siblings and cousins in sync, and prevents "peeking ahead" by changing a device clock.

Preview upcoming days

Grown-ups can peek at any day before it airs on the preview page. You'll need the preview code included with your kit.

Privacy policy

The daily dispatch page collects no personal information from anyone.

  • No accounts, no logins, no forms on the child-facing page.
  • No third-party ad trackers or analytics cookies on /dispatch.
  • The "Mission Accepted!" button is a client-side animation — nothing is stored or sent.
  • Premium child names are provided by the purchasing parent at checkout, never by the child.
  • We do not collect: real names entered by children, ages, addresses, schools, photos, voice, email, phone numbers, or location.
